Cookie Policy

Last Updated: March 11, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how axontryx (operated by Axontryx Learning GmbH) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly.

Cookies help the site function, remember your choices, and (with your consent) measure how pages are used and how advertising performs. Some of the technologies described below may be implemented via browser cookies, pixel tags, or server-side requests that use cookie identifiers.

If you would like to change your selection, use the ā€œManage cookie preferencesā€ link in the footer. Essential cookies remain active because they are required to provide the website and keep it secure.

1) What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. When you visit a website, cookies can be used to remember your settings, keep a session stable as you navigate, and (when enabled) collect aggregated information about how users interact with pages.

We also refer to ā€œsimilar technologiesā€. These include pixel tags (small snippets used for conversion measurement) and server-side tracking that receives event data from the browser. When used, these technologies typically rely on the same cookie identifiers described in the cookie table below.

2) Cookie lifespan and origin

Cookies can be:

  • Session cookies that expire when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies that remain for a set period or until deleted.

Cookies can also be:

  • First-party cookies set by this website’s domain.
  • Third-party cookies set by service providers (for example, analytics or advertising platforms) when those tools are enabled.

3) Cookie categories we use

Essential cookies (always on)

These are required for the website to function and for basic security. They support features such as session continuity, load balancing, and storing your cookie choice. Because they are necessary for providing the site, they do not require consent.

Analytics cookies (optional)

If enabled, analytics cookies help us understand which pages are visited, how users move through course and webinar information, and where navigation can be improved. We use these insights to improve content structure and reduce friction in the enrollment information flow.

Analytics cookies are only activated after you give consent through the cookie banner or cookie preferences panel. Where applicable, analytics is configured with IP anonymization and limited retention.

Marketing cookies (optional)

If enabled, marketing cookies are used to measure advertising performance (for example, whether a visitor later submits an enrollment request) and to support remarketing. They can also help limit repeated ads and create aggregated audiences, such as ā€œvisited the Courses pageā€ or ā€œcompleted the contact form.ā€

Marketing cookies are only activated after you give consent. If you reject non-essential cookies, we do not run marketing measurement tags.

4) Cookie table

The table below lists the cookie names and their typical purpose and retention. Some third-party cookie names include an identifier that can vary by configuration (for example, the GA4 property suffix).

Name Purpose Category Type Retention
_site_session Site session continuity Essential First-party Session
cookie_consent Stores your consent choice Essential First-party 12 months
_ga GA4 user identifier Analytics Third-party 2 years
_ga_XXXXXXXXXX GA4 session state (10-char GA4 ID) Analytics Third-party 2 years
_gcl_au Google Ads conversion linker Marketing Third-party 90 days
_fbp Meta Pixel browser identifier Marketing Third-party 90 days
_fbc Meta Pixel click identifier Marketing Third-party 90 days

If a cookie is not present in your browser, it may mean that the related category is disabled or that the third-party tool has not been loaded. Your selection in the cookie banner controls whether analytics and marketing cookies can be set.

5) Third-party providers

When you allow analytics or marketing cookies, the website may interact with third-party services to provide measurement and advertising functionality. Common providers include:

  • Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager where used).
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel and related conversion measurement where used).
  • Cloudflare (security and performance services that may process IP-based signals for threat detection).

We do not permit these providers to use site data for their own independent commercial purposes. Where applicable, data is processed under contractual terms and, for international transfers, appropriate safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

6) How to manage cookie preferences

You can manage non-essential cookies at any time:

  • Use the ā€œManage cookie preferencesā€ link in the footer to open the preferences panel.
  • Clear cookies in your browser settings to reset your choice and be asked again.
  • Disable third-party cookies in your browser (note that some site functionality may be affected).

If you reject analytics cookies, we do not run analytics measurement for your visit. If you reject marketing cookies, we do not run advertising measurement tags for your visit. Essential cookies remain active because they are required to operate the site and store your preferences.

7) Updates to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in how the site operates, changes in the cookies we use, or changes in legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the ā€œLast Updatedā€ date at the top of the page.
